Before Wild Women Consulting existed, Kate spent 15 years in business development at a large financial firm — learning how real organizations run, how to build processes that scale, and how to operate at a level most small businesses never experience.
At the same time, she was running a yoga studio. Not just teaching classes — actually running a business. 26 classes per week. 13 instructors. 4 front desk staff. Events, workshops, retail, payroll, marketing, HR. She was the CEO, COO, and every department head rolled into one, and she kept it thriving for six years.
When she sold the studio in 2018 and left her corporate role in 2019, the combination of those two experiences became something most consultants simply don’t have: the strategic thinking of someone who’s operated inside large organizations, and the practical instincts of someone who’s built a business from the ground up.
