The 3 Tech Tools I Use Every Day Without Fail
You know what’s more overwhelming than not having systems and processes in place in your business? The amount of tech systems that are out there to choose from to automate and systematize your business.
In fact, when you start looking at one of them to use in your business, you will inevitably be inundated with ads for about a billion others, all touting to be the best and probably not being clear in their marketing about what they do.
Well I am here to tell you that you don’t need a data science degree to be able to add systems to your business. There are three systems that I use every single day that keep me organized and ready to take on the world.
These systems are perfect for service providers and solopreneurs that want some automation in their business without having to figure out how to code in the process.
Slack
In my humble opinion, this is the best chat space available. You can manage your staff, clients, freelancers, you name it… and you can probably do most of that for free if you’re a small operation.
Keep your conversations organized and connect your chat with your calendar, storage system, or project management tool to really enhance your productivity.
Dubsado
Most of my clients look at me like I have 10 heads when I tell them about Dubsado. The name alone gets them hung-up, but when I tell them that it’s a one stop shop CRM to onboard and offboard your clients they quickly perk up.
With their canned emails, scheduler, invoices, contract, forms, and templates all ready for you to use, you might stop there and think, “Wow sounds great”. But it gets better. Dubsado has the ability to have your entire process automated so all you need to do is actually do the work for the client - not get bogged down in the business stuff.
ClickUp / Asana
I know, everyone has their favorite project management tool. But ClickUp is by far the absolute best. It has its own built-in automations and what seems like a billion ways to store, collaborate and view your projects, but it is not for the faint of heart.
ClickUp is definitely for those who are not scared of automation and really want the most highly customizable tool on the market. There is a bit of a learning curve to ClickUp, but its features truly are incredible.
On the other hand, while it doesn't have every bell and whistle available, I tend to recommend Asana to a lot of my clients that are newer to using a project management tool and a little intimidated by automation. This project management tool is great for those who like to just jump in and start off running. Asana has good features and integrations, and is super easy to just unpack and go.
These tools are the life-blood of my day-to-day work life. I absolutely love them! So if you are at the beginning of trying to find the right tools to incorporate into your business, start with these. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
